As a highly-acclaimed guitarist, he has also contributed to numerous artists’ albums over the decades, including The Beatles, Aretha Franklin, Steven Stills, Bob Dylan, Elton John, John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Sting, and Roger Waters.

He chats to Jools about his love of blues and the making of his 19th studio album, Clapton, which sees him paying tribute to the songs that inspired him early in his career.
