Eric Clapton 2013 US Tour Dates Unveiled

Eric Clapton is kicking off the US leg of his 2013 Tour in March 2013. The Tour will wrap up in NYC with the two-night Crossroads Guitar Festival at MSG in New York on April 12 & 13.  The Festival will see lots of other artists, including the Allman Brothers Band, Jeff Beck, BB King, Buddy Guy, Taj Mahal, Gary Clark Jr. and John Mayer to name but a few.

The Terrace level at MSG is also to host the “Guitar Center Road to Crossroads Exhibition,” which will feature a number of historic guitars on display, memorabilia, archival footage, and interactive exhibits where fans will be able to play products by Fender, Gibson, Ernie Ball, and Martin. The exhibition will open at 6:30 PM on 4/12 and 6:00 PM on 4/13, and will be free to ticket holders.

Tickets for the festival go on sale Friday, November 30 at noon with a Chase (who is presenting the show) presale beginning Monday, November 26 at noon.

Clapton’s band will consist of long-time touring partners: Doyle Bramhall II (guitar), Steve Jordan (drums), Chris Stainton (piano and keyboards), and Willie Weeks (bass), along with newcomers Paul Carrack (organ and keyboards) and Greg Leisz (pedal steel guitar). Michelle John and Sharon White will join the touring band again as backing vocalists. The tour will also feature special guests, The Wallflowers.
